Surfacetech webbing is molecularly altered to form microscopic peaks and valley in the fiber structure, which functions to greatly reduce the surface area that comes in contact with contaminants. Paints, Chemicals, or lunchtime mustard will simply run off the surface, while heavier and stickier substances like dirt, mud, or tar are easily removed with water, or are repelled altogether.
